  • Rolex has always been secretive about publishing information about their watches. Not anymore. Author Nicholas Foulkes is publishing the first ever Rolex-authorized book: Oyster Perpetual Submariner – The Watch that Unlocked the Deep. The Submariner line has attracted close scrutiny from collectors who prize the many variations released throughout several decades, but never before has anyone compiled such an anthology. The 252-page, 256-image biography will be available for pre-order on the Wallpaper* website on September 16th (today!). (Wallpaper*)

  • Longines is expanding its Legend Diver collection with three new dial colors to celebrate its 65th anniversary. Green, terracotta, and anthracite grey dials will join the existing lineup, and all three will be wrapped in a 39mm stainless steel case with up to 30 bar of water resistance. The three models are also certified as chronometers by the COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres) and as Divers’ Watches in accordance with the ISO 6425 standard. The latest colors fetch a $3,400 retail price. (Longines)
