  • Want a Cartier Tank but don’t have the wallet for it? Frederique Constant has your back with the brand-new Classics Carrée Small Seconds, which was unveiled at the Geneva Watch Days this week and retails for only £795.00 (~$1,050) – significantly less than the Tank’s $3,300+ (depending on the size) asking price. Nearly identical in design, the Frederique Constant is a quality piece that bears a well-liked and reputable name. (Frederique Constant)

  • The race to create the thinnest mechanical watch just got even more interesting at Geneva Watch Days. The Konstantin Chaykin ThinKing Prototype is a pre-production piece measuring only 1.65mm thick – thinner than the previous front-runner (the Octo Finissimo Ultra – 1.70mm thick) by .05mm. The watch is still early in pre-production, so many details are yet to be revealed – more to come as the watch approaches its official launch date. (Hodinkee)
