Mappin & Webb recently opened their latest store in Edinburgh and hosted a sensational bash for the launch. The store welcomed visitors to peruse its inventory and enjoy a delightful selection of hors d'oeuvres. We’re excited to go see the store for ourselves! Zenith x Hodinkee collaborated to produce a limited-edition watch (we teased it last week!) – the Zenith Chronomaster Original Triple Calendar Limited Edition For Hodinkee (rolls off the tongue nicely, right?). The watch pays homage to a rare prototype El Primero timepiece that never reached commercial production. Zenith capped the production run at 200 pieces, which retail for $13,500 and can be purchased through the Hodinkee shop. (Hodinkee)
Horological classes are back in session. The Horological Society of New York will hold classes in Atlanta (Oct. 12 - 13), Tuscon (Oct. 18 - 19), and Vancouver (Nov. 2 - 3).
