The Horological Society of New York announced it will host “Horological Education” classes in Seattle, WA, and Vancouver, BC, this coming fall (Sep. 27 and 28, 2024, and Oct. 5 and 6, 2024, respectively). Citizen plans to release two new Satellite Wave X models earlier this week, carrying on the legacy of 2014’s Satellite Wave F100 – a model developed to receive time signals from orbiting satellites. The new Satellite Wave X models are a more polished version of their predecessor. They feature unique triangular components, ridges and mirrored surfaces to suggest a sense of speed, and satellite signal reception as fast as 3 seconds. (Citizen)
